Pair C. Jere Postmodern Man and Woman Tall Abstract Modern Figural Sculpture

Pair of Curtis Jere, Postmodern, Memphis Milano, Abstract Swooping Angular Man and Woman Metal Table or Floor Art Sculptures. Cut from a continuous piece of sheet metal and finished in a matte metallic silver/chrome paint. Spectacular, silhouetted faces are perched upon one continuous piece of matte aluminum sheet metal, which serves as their base and the gently curves upward forming an "interpretative" torso. The pieces are whimsical, modernist, 3D "line drawing" works. The man's hat is outlined in flat sheet metal banding, while the woman's fabulously, dramatically, wavy locks are a thick tubular wire. They can be displayed upon a table, in front of a fireplace or as floor sculptures. The C. Jere signature, which was located on the flat part of the base, of the male sculpture, on my other set, can rub off over time on fabric tablecloths. I have seen this before. These are bonafide C. Jere original vintage pieces. Very dramatic, postmodern, whimsical works of art

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. On close inspection, there is some normal wear and faint scratches, commensurate with age. A fine line of paint is worn off on a few areas along the edges of the giant swoop. Overall, they display beautifully.
