Spectacular, Oversized, Original, Lithograph poster by artist Alex Katz, in coordination with with the New York Chapter of N.O.W. (National Organization for Women) The artwork was created by Katz, to bring awareness and raise financial support to benefit the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), by Congress, in 1972. It's quite unbelievable that the Equal Rights Amendment was first drafted in 1923 by two leaders of the women’s suffrage movement, And yet, in 1972, it still fell short of the requisite number states needed to ratify it as an amendment. To date the Equal Rights Amendment, Is not recognized as a right, by the Constitution. I remember seeing this poster, in 1972, as an enormous 20-25 foot billboard, in Times Square. Measurements 42" L x 13" H A focal and very timely tribute to a generation before us and the generation today.

Height: 13 in (33.02 cm) Width: 42 in (106.68 cm) Depth: 0.25 in (6.35 mm)

Wear consistent with age and use. Very nice vintage condition.
