It’s rare to find any certified and licensed, Girard Sun Designed pieces, since the closure of his award winning New York restaurant, La Fonda Del Sol in the early 70’s.

Alexander Girard was a prominent American architect and interior designer who was a leading figure in mid-century Modernism. He was known for his use of color, pattern, and folk art-inspired designs. His work included textiles, furniture, and graphic designs, and he was the head of the textile division at the Herman Miller furniture company from 1952 to 1973.
