A rare watch presented here-a full set of a 1979's Cartier Gondole watch in jumbo vertical size (34x39mm). Manual wind movement, classic cabochon crown, blued dagger hands. Watch is crafted in 18k solid gold. Beautiful lightly used condition, unpolished, hallmarks are clear and only very slight marks/minor surface scratches. Inscription on the back "I love you, Peggy, 7/1/79." Sold in New York, 5TH Avenue. Gondole jumbo watches are rare to begin with, but a full set, box/papers is a remarkable time warp. On a typical wrist, this watch feels large and commands a strong, elegant presence, in a a true Cartier style.

Wear consistent with age and use. the condition is very good, hallmarks are sharp and clear, no polishing, original box and papers included, light surface marks and light surface scratches appropriate to wear, overall very clean and well kept.
