A classic mid century modern sofa designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. This example is unmarked, but retains the “lasagna” ribbed straps that support hand tied springs, as well had metal brackets that attach the legs to the frame. This is a smaller sofa but still seats three people. Mahogany legs with tapered stretcher running from front to back complete the look. Listed back height is without the back cushions, back cushions bring overall height closer to 29.5” Other notable designers from the period include Harvey Probber, Milo Baughman, and Adrian Pearsall
