Gorgeous pair of rare "Toad Stool Tables" designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar, circa 1960's. In keeping with his design philosophy these tables encompass traditional and modernist design elements. With a unique top and bent ash legs mounted to an enameled metal ring. These tables also display properties of organic modernism with the subtle curve and great use of elements. Tables are unmarked but a documented design. Other notable designers from the period include Harvey Probber, Paul Laszlo, Paul Frankl, etc.

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Vintage condition- there are scratches to the table tops which can be seen from some angles. Paint loss to metal ring.
