Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce Model 585 Minimalist Table Lamp
Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce Model 585 Minimalist Table Lamp
A true collector's piece. This is a rare model 585 petite table lamp or task lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce. A wonderful example of Italian lighting in immaculate condition. Metal base with painted metal shade. Shade can be turned in a full 360 degrees. Please note this is a small scale light and as such the amount of light is more of mood lighting.
Other notable designers and brands from the period include; Angelo Lelii, Arredoluce, Stilnovo, etc
Dimensions:
Height: 8 in (20.32 cm)
Width: 2.5 in (6.35 cm)
Depth: 4 in (10.16 cm)
Wear consistent with age and use. Appears all original. Very good condition, of the small sample size of examples I have seen this is arguably the cleanest example. A few small nicks in paint around edge of shade.

Beautiful lamp! I admired Dave’s collection of Martz lamps for a few weeks before finally making the decision to bring one into the home. Wonderful piece and I’m very happy to have it. First rate item, first rate seller and communication and assistance. 5 stars all day!
