Original 90's David Hockney Stanley & Boodge Dachshund Dog Exhibition Museum Black & White Sketch Lithograph Poster Art Printed in Yorkshire, UK 1994 Large, Original, David Hockney, 1994 Exhibition Lithograph Sketch of his beloved Dachshunds, Stanley & Boodge, curled up together on a chair seat cushion. Stanley & Boodge, Hockney's dogs, are a frequent and loving subject matter for the artist. He has produced a variety of art pieces, from n various mediums, of his two adored Dachshunds, both in in color paintings and black and white sketches. This piece is a charming, modern and minimalist, monochrome image of Stanley and Boodge, lazing in a comfy armchair. This exhibition lithograph was produced to go along with David Hockney's New Drawings show held in the UK in 1994. The text along base of poster reads: David Hockney New Drawings Salts Mill 1994 1853 Gallery Salts Mill Saltaire Yorkshire. Measurements 33" W x 27.5" H 83.4 cm x 69.8 cm In very nice/excellent vintage condition This poster is fast approaching its 30th birthday. Due to its age, there may be some very minor yellowing at the edges which would be disguised by framing. Never framed. Archivally stored flat for 3 decades.
