1980’s, award winning, postmodern, Memphis.Era, modernist, re-imagined art deco, bankers desk touch lamp Designed by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs, This stunning, elegant lamp is an updated design of the classic green glass shade and brass fittings that was iconic during the art deco period The Sonneman design, incorporates very angular lines, replaces the green shade with straight rectangular glass and the 30s brass body with an industrial and architectural chrome base This lamp graced many post modern museum collections and exhibitions worldwide Measurements 15” H x 10” W x 10”D The lamp has been tested and is working perfectly The exterior is glistening It uses 2 40-Watt, E12 mount chandelier bulbs. I prefer frosted incandescent bulbs for a warm soft glow Lovely pre-owned condition
