Vintage 1983 Alessi Original 3cp La Conica Espresso Coffee Maker Italy MINT Iconic, 1983, original 3-cup, " La Conica" Espresso Coffee Maker, model "La Tavola di Babele" ,designed by Aldo Rossi, (Italian, 1931–1997) for Alessi S.p.A. (Italian, established 1921) This model is part of the permanent collection of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Never used! Designed in 1983, manufactured in 1984 Comes with all original paperwork (no box)). The Alessi product card has only a phone number, no Internet address. This model is a exemplary example of post modern design, with its union of simple geometric shapes and concise elegant body.
