Ultra Rare, 1996 Original Mies van der Rohe Architectural Furniture Design "Blueprint" Exhibition Poster from the Museum of Modern Art, New York This lithograph, printed on heavy stock, in 1996, is copyrighted by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), NYC and published in the USA It was created for MoMA's 1996 Industrial Retrospective of the works of Mies van der Rohe in collaboration with Lilly Reich, 1931. The text on the poster reads: Mass-production furniture by Lilly Reich and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Manufactured by Bamberg Metallwerkstatten Berlin-Nuekolln, 1931 The design layout is a grid. The background is black. Each grid contains one of Van der Rohe's chair designs. The chairs, numerical specs and printed details, (written in German) are all done in white, thereby creating a negative image.
