Vintage Pop Art "58 Perpetual Noses" Sculptural vase. These sculptures are similar in design to the Jonathan Adler's Menagerie Collection and the works of Richard Etts. This work, "Perpetual 58 Noses" Sculptural Art Vase is rarely offered for sale. It was created and discontinued in 2006 by TMS and is part of the highly sought after TMS Vitruvian Collection The collection, consisting of 20 or so sculptural art pieces, were all released in very limited editions. Each design was available for only a few months. The entire collection began in 2004 and was discontinued in 2009 and rarely come to market, and when they do, often have condition issues. They are highly collectible in the USA and internationally, and have fetched impressive prices at auction. The most sought after perpetual design sculptures include a head, lips, breasts, fingers and a bowl of perpetual hands. My Vitruvian collection was purchased as each sculpture was released and kept in an enclosed glass display case, air tight, and never handled. My preference has been for the off white pieces There is a patina that is part of the design. It is not dirt or discoloration. The pieces are off white with a darker patina which visually adds detailed depth. Made from a stone resin compound, most pieces are engraved with a Shakespearean quote on the bottom and dated.
