Rare, iconic, 1966 Exhibition Lithograph Poster, entitled "Big Nudes", was created for the School of Visual Arts, New York City, by internationally renown, graphic artist, Milton Glaser (1929-2020), The poster features a simple line drawing of the bottom half of a nude figure., which features the swooping lines of his contemporaneous work, but in a muted two-color palate, the central nude figure begins to crawl off the page. The poster promoted an exhibition of oversized photographs of nude women by Helmut Newton, challenging traditional beauty standards. Glaser is probably best known for his graphic art logo, "l heart New York" which seemed to festoon every shopping bag and bumper sticker for the last 60 years.
